Soccer Fever Reigns

Hi there Girls
So sorry for the lateness of this weeks newsletter but I’ve been running around after all these lovely foreigners trying to ensure they leave here with a positive experience. Tiring work. But ever such nice people.

This week’s page is "Soccer Fever" which unlike it may sound, really is not in a soccer theme at all but can be a lay out of anything. It’s of my surrogate grandchild who is naturally soccer bef*k right now (‘scuse language) as you might well imagine. The page is in bright orange, blue and green and is ideal for a smaller girl or boy theme, maybe in the garden, as it has bugs all over it. However, you could well leave the bugs off and it would still make for a lovely page. Or even use completely different paper. I’m forgoing my dance class tonight to finish it and hope to get a pic of the page off to you girls tomorrow.
Photo requirements are:
1 A5 Portrait (1/2 A4): trimmed to 13.5 x 20 cm
6 (2 up) portrait : 2 trimmed to 6.5 x 10 cm
2 trimmed to 6.5 x 9.5 cm
2 trimmed to 6.5 x 9 cm
9 (2up) landscape: trimmed to 8 x 6.5 cm

I will be doing a proper World Cup page in the near future. Watch this space.

I’m going to have to ask you all to bear with me this week. Our B&B guests are all on holiday and are in NO rush to get up for breakfast. Some even strolling in as late as 09h30 looking for a meal. So if you like my undivided attention, this would not be a good week for you to come and scrap as I might be rushing between the two. There is even the faint possibility that I get confused and give you the fried eggs and bacon and toss a packet of brads at some poor Norwegian.

This week’s evening class is on Thursday 24th. Booking is essential. Do hope you can make it.

Got some new Fab Scraps papers in – lovely they are too. I’ve had a sneak preview of what they’re launching next month and it looks fabby dabby. For those of you who were waiting for the African range, that’s now in so you’re welcome to come along and do the Wild Times page if you prefer. Also got a sneak peak at the Art From The Heart range for next month – really great. I’m just loving all this local paper.

Don’t forget to blow your vuvuzela (or voo voo sailor as my Canadian friend called them) for Bafana Bafana. This is our LAST chance. I thought it was a bleeding disgrace the way the supporters left the stadium before the end of the game. What an insult to Uruguay!! Makes me feel a bit ashamed when I see that kind of thing.

Blessings to you all and happy scrapping.
Regards
Alison
